If this isn’t a reminder of how important it is to vote, at least while we still can.
July 4, 2019 – Celebrate or Mourn Some of us want to celebrate July 4th this year as we do every year because it marks the birth of this nation we love. But we can’t. We think we may have to mourn the demise of the government our forefathers bequeathed us. We’re too sad to […]

I feel like I’m in a twilight zone.
Me too, and I want to leave.
Someone I follow(ed) was furious that another blogger wasn’t on board with the whole 4th spectacular. She told him to love America or leave it. I really wanted to comment on her post that as Americans we have, not only the right to disagree with our leaders, but the responsibility to call out wrongdoing when we see it. Unfortunately she didn’t allow comments on her post, so I hit the unfollow button.
Good grief, doesn’t surprise me though. She was probably to dense to know that as taxpayers we were paying for the whole shit show.
Wise response..stupid is forever
We most certainly r…and with the recent earthquakes here, even more so
I guess so! Did you have a lot of damage?
No but 20 miles away in Ridgecrest they had house crumbling etc
From what we’ve heard the area could have aftershocks for months!
Yes…we’ve prepared a survival bag just in case
Good idea!
I’d never felt an earthquake before Thursday’s…it rolled for 50 seconds…I was just in paralytic shock
I can imagine! We experienced a 4.3 quake while we were vacationing in Bar Harbor, Maine, several years ago. Having lived in the plains areas all of our lives we had no idea what had happened. My husband thought the boiler in the basement of our B&B had blown up. There was no rolling—just an explosive sound and violent shaking.
That’s pretty damned scary too!!! The people in Ridgecrest felt far more than we did, for sure..butttt…it is a big trump area sooo…it’s to be expected 🤣
🤣
I think I never felt earlier ones because I was younger & wasted much of the time
That’ll do it!
AND THE MEDIA DIDN’T BOTHER MUCH.
Reblogged this on By the Mighty Mumford and commented:
ANOTHER VIEW OF TRUMP’S PRIVATE (?) PARTY, JULY 4TH!
Thanks for the reblog.
Yer welcome! 😀
Yes. I feel great grief for the loss of America.
Me too. 😦
Exactly Cindy…it outrages me that the fat bastard’s supporters r not only unaware but assisting in our destruction…but ignorance is the most lethal thing there is
There’s an unreality to all this. If it was in a novel it would seem unbelievable.
We are living it unfortunately.
Mourn first…outrage later
It’s like watching the death of a family member…u don’t by celebrate that..u grieve the loss of what was and may never be again
Nice to see your blogging again Hope your having a Nice Summer
Thanks so much, you too!
Thanks…Me too..summer has been an anxious mixed bag to be truthful
The Declaration of Independence was a declaration of independence from tyranny and foreign control — not a declaration of independence from responsibility to others … and certainly not a celebration of foreign interference! https://petersironwood.com/2019/07/04/the-declaration-of-interdependence/
