This couldn’t be more relevant for me today. My 40th high school reunion is quickly approaching. On the Facebook page for our reunion was a request for people’s names who had passed. There was a list from the 20th reunion and it was being updated. I almost cried when I saw how many of my close friends were now gone. I added several names of friends who were not on the list. Before I saw this, I was feeling sorry for myself because I’m facing knee replacement surgery. I have my tomorrow in front of me, and the memories of my friends who are no longer with us.
There is only a limited amount of time that we have and we must make the most out of every possible minute.
I had never thought of it like that. Your post brings so much into perspective!
Thank you.
🙂
I understand how you feel. I was floored by the list of peers who had passed by my 30th reunion. I’m not looking forward to the extended list at my 35th next year
Thanks for stopping by.
