Merle Norman Brush Cleansing Bar Review

Wow!  Merle Norman Brush Cleansing Bar is awesome!  My friend gave this to me for my birthday yesterday.  I was so excited to try it, I used it last night. Dang! This is some great stuff!

Here is the description from Merle Norman’s website:

We’ve raised the bar when it comes to cleaning makeup brushes. This simple, fast and convenient alternative to liquid cleansers safely cleans natural and synthetic brushes. Silicone pad provides a deep cleaning surface. Light Papaya and Green Coconut scent. Travel-friendly.

The cost is $18.75 USD for 1.1 ounces.  I couldn’t wait to try it, as I have many make up brushes that I don’t clean as often as I should.  Regular brush cleansing will not only lengthen the life of your brushes, but get rid of bacteria that can cause break outs.

I have used Japonesque Solid brush cleaner in the past, but it pales in comparison to the Merle Norman brush cleaner.   The silicone pad that comes with it makes a huge difference.  You simply wet your brush, swipe on the soap them swipe on the silicone pad, rinse then your are done.

If you are not familiar with Merle Norman Cosmetics, it’s an American cosmetic company that has been around for over 87 years.  Each studio is independently owned and operated. The products are made in the United States and are cruelty free. They have a wide variety of skin care and make up products available. Their “Try before you buy” philosophy has been a calling card since day one. I’ve worked as a beauty advisor at Merle Norman in the past, and can personally vouch for the quality of their products.  You will receive personalized service that is not possible at department stores or other specialty retailers.

I couldn’t believe how much make up came out of my blush brush.  Check out the YouTube video on how to use this great brush cleaner.

I will be purchasing the product again.

Thanks for stopping by.
