China Lights
We visited this attraction last night. It was beyond cool. All of the displays are made of silk, and are set up at the site. There were over 30 displays. Food, entertainment, Chinese beer, good friends, what’s not to love! Plus it’s November here in Southeastern Wisconsin, and the weather was beautiful last night. If this comes to your town, I highly recommend checking it out. China Lights
Make America What?
A sad but very true commentary on our society.

I have been staying out of most political conversations for months. Today, While I was driving around the county, providing community mental health services to people who would be most negatively impacted by a Trump Presidency, I realized that the Trump campaign signs needed editing to more accurately reflect the affect of his campaign on the state of interpersonal relations in this country. When I got home, I decided to make my feelings on this subject crystal clear by designing this postage stamp.
Ulta Holiday Catalog
Happy Saturday! Growing up in the 1960’s, getting the Sears & Roebuck catalog was a big deal. We would spend hours pouring over the toy section. Mom and Dad would let us pick out what we wanted Santa to bring us.
Well, I just got the 2016 Ulta holiday catalog yesterday. OMG! I actually looked at it twice last night. There are so many holiday kits, I was going crazy! For the past several years, I’ve asked for an Ulta gift card from the hubby. That’s it. Maybe some candy, and a Ulta card loaded with lots of cash.
Judging by what I was seeing, I’ll be going in way before Christmas. It’s such a great way to try higher end cosmetics without paying a ton of money. Check it out Ulta Holiday Gifts

My Lovebugs
Happy Saturday! Christmas is right around the corner. If you are thinking of getting a pet, please adopt, don’t shop. Above are our two rescues, Teddy and Peanut. Teddy is 7 and Peanut is 11. We had a purebred collie for 12 years. She was a good dog, just not very affectionate.
Our two dogs couldn’t be more affectionate. I do believe they are grateful that they were rescued. We love them to pieces. Shelters are full of dogs and cats that are looking for loving homes. Won’t you open up your heart and home to one of these delightful creatures?
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend.

Tagging — HarsH ReaLiTy-Great info
I look at the tags many of you use when I visit your sites. I am always astonished at how many bloggers don’t use a few of the staple tags EVERYONE should use on EVERY post… Tagging isn’t hard. People make it hard. You can have up to 15 tags and categories count as a […]
Julep Nail Color
Happy Wednesday! My nails were so long until I went on vacation recently. I cut them down before we went, and three weeks later they are finally growing in.
Here’s a really pretty sparkle color by Julep in Ebony. I got it free with this month’s Julep box. I signed up for three months, and this was my last one. I like the polish, but the boxes are a bit pricey ($20USD) per month. You can pick your products which is nice.
This is only one coat, over a medium blue I already had on. Julep Ebony It girl. It’s a graphite holographic polish. It’s really cool. It’s on sale for only $4.99. Julep is some of the best polish I have ever used. It stays on well, and is deeply pigmented.
