Please help save dogs at high kill shelters!

Please help support this author’s cause to rescue dogs from high kill shelters.  We have had our two rescues for over nine years.  They are the most loving, sweetest dogs ever. Please consider adopting instead of shopping for your next pet.

Thank you!

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has purchased, read, and taken the time to review one of my books. All profits from my books go to help get dogs like Marbles, Maria, Hancock, Nelson, Emma, Spot, Coco, Eva, Diana, Sergio, Wilbur, Waffle, siblings Lady Caine & Queen Ariana (see photos below) out of kill shelters. […]

Signs from Harley — Running to Zen-I followed Harley on Facebook before he passed earlier this year. Truly an inspiration to us all.

“A picture is worth a thousand words.” And we believe that this picture could be worth not only thousands of words, but also the lives of thousands of dogs. If everyone who loved dogs knew the truth about puppy mills, we could make puppy mills a thing of the past. So with that in mind, […]

Please help animals in need in the United States

I’m a huge animal lover.  I grew up with pets and currently have two rescue pups.  Please give whatever you can.  I signed up for the $10 a month subscription.  This will provide 400 meals per month for shelter animals waiting for their forever homes. You can give $2 which will provide 80 meals per month, or can do a one time donation.rescue

Thank you.

My Lovebugs

Happy Saturday!  Christmas is right around the corner.  If you are thinking of getting a pet, please adopt, don’t shop.  Above are our two rescues, Teddy and Peanut.  Teddy is 7 and Peanut is 11. We had a purebred collie for 12 years.  She was a good dog, just not very affectionate.

Our two dogs couldn’t be more affectionate.  I do believe they are grateful that they were rescued.  We love them to pieces.  Shelters are full of dogs and cats that are looking for loving homes.  Won’t you open up your heart and home to one of these delightful creatures?

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend.teddy-peanut-11-5-16

This is about a little dog named Harley, he’s a puppy mill survivor.

Please watch and share.  Puppy mills are horrible places.  There are about 10,000 puppy mills in the United States.  Harley is on a mission to end puppy mills. We have two rescues that are Chihuahua mixes. They are the sweetest dogs I have ever had.  Please spread the word about puppy mills.  Adopt, don’t shop.

Thank you.

Really dog of mine, really????

I’m lounging here on the couch, minding my own business, and the dog proceeds to piss on the curtains. Just a few feet away from where I am sitting. I saw him nosing around and told him to scram.  I guess he showed me. Little f*%ker!!!!!!!

Thank god for Nature’s Miracle!  If you have a pet, you gotta try this stuff! It really works for pet accidents.012

My dog has OCD!

My dog Teddy has OCD!  When I told our vet he was eating material, she said he was a little OCD. WTF!?!?!?!?!? We’ve had him for five years, and love him to pieces, but he eats fabric.  Not so much just chewing, but actually eating the material.  He has chewed holes in our bedding, destroyed his dog bed and makes his dog blankets look like Swiss cheese.  The little stink chews holes in our blanket while he’s sleeping with us. He doesn’t seem like he’s nervous and is a total cuddle bug.  He was a rescue so we don’t know what kind of a situation he came from. Jesus, you would think after five years he would chill.

He’s so darn cute I just can’t be mad at him.  Besides he hasn’t chewed up any of my shoes, yet.

New dog bed, for other dog. Teddy ate his last bed.

Look at the face, how can you not just smother him with kisses? I’m such a sucker.  Big sigh.
