The bottom two layers of ornaments on our tree are all cat safe and made of soft materials they can play with and smack around. We had one cat who every night would take all the ornaments off the bottom of the tree and leave them in a pile. In the morning Ron would put them back on, and in the night the cat would again take them all off. Hugs
When Odis was a kitten we had to anchor the tree to the walls as he loved to crawl up inside it and poke his head out when you walked by. I was funny after we did not have to rescue both tree and kitten. Be well, have much joy. Hugs

DON’T FORGET THE KITTY TOYS!!!!! 🙂
Ha! I actually put up some kitty ornaments at the bottom of the tree in the hopes it would keep Schooner from going after the ones I don’t want him to go after!
I am so glad I don’t have to worry about this with Choppy! She leaves the tree alone.
That’s because she’s a girl, and mine two kooks are boys. I haven’t even put any packages under the tree yet. They get let out constantly, so I don’t know what their problem is.

I’m just hoping my two dogs don’t pee on the tree! I tell them everyday that Santa dog won’t be coming if they do that!

Maybe it’s just boys being boys!
True! I’m outnumbered in my house, four to one!
