Unfucking believable. It took Pence to cast a tie breaking vote to get her in, so at least Democrats are fighting. But, man, this sucks.
I know! I’m glad our son is a senior this year. I fear for the future of our children.
There is building evidence, however, that Wash DC was so overwhelmed by constituent input against this particular candidate that even though she squeaked by to get her confirmation, it is likely that many legislators will be timid in actually supporting her agenda. KEEP the postcards, phone calls, letters, faxes, tweets going.

if it took Pence to cast the deciding votes, then a few Repubs are seeing the light. it isn’t a 50/50 split in the Senate.
Hopefully more will come around before the apocalypse!
Your statement about being a plumber made me spit my coffee. HILARIOUS! But, all laughing aside, you are right. This is terrible news.
Ha ha! I have to try and laugh about it, or else I would cry. I’m glad our son is a senior this year, but I feel terrible about the education for our future generations.
