I find it incredible that the detail and artwork that went into everyday objects in the past. I love the details in the homes and buildings of the old days. Today they are just big boxes. So much care and interest is lost. Love the pictures. Hugs
I love antique girly things. The craftsmanship is amazing.
I have stuff like this that was my Grandmothers….a brass peacock lamp with these green, blue and clear crystal beads that make up the tail and have lights behind it: a beaded purse with sterling silver top part that clasps; gold painted Chinese china desert plates with a place for the tiny cups to sit on the plate; several extravagant things like that.
It was funny to see the VW bus model behind the ornate bed frame.
