  1. Ron and I use to take the two holidays ( Thanksgiving and Christmas ) and invite people we knew did not have anyone to share with or were not able to make a good meal themselves, to our home for the holiday meal. We did that for almost 16 years. One thanksgiving we had forty plus people eating on our car port. The church behind us lent us tables and chairs. If we saw people walking by we invited them to stop and eat. Sadly we can’t do that anymore, we are too old and I can’t do much to help Ron prepare, cook and serve the food. He is working many holidays now. But we have the pictures and the memories. A lot of people had full bellies and happy time. Hugs
