I bought a few toys last week and donated them to toys for tots.
Good for you.
At the moment I don’t have much $ to give but wanted to do something.
Bless your little heart. I wish more people were like you. 🙂
Ron and I use to take the two holidays ( Thanksgiving and Christmas ) and invite people we knew did not have anyone to share with or were not able to make a good meal themselves, to our home for the holiday meal. We did that for almost 16 years. One thanksgiving we had forty plus people eating on our car port. The church behind us lent us tables and chairs. If we saw people walking by we invited them to stop and eat. Sadly we can’t do that anymore, we are too old and I can’t do much to help Ron prepare, cook and serve the food. He is working many holidays now. But we have the pictures and the memories. A lot of people had full bellies and happy time. Hugs
Oh, that is so sweet. I wish their were more people like you Scottie!
Thank you. Hugs
Thank you for sharing our effort! I am so touched to hear about how everyone is helping to make a difference in the world… even if it’s simply in their intentions! 🙂 Love your community!
You are so welcome. Every little bit helps.
