Dear Republicans, You’re Dealing With The Devil By Supporting Judge Moore For The US Senate

American Republicans , the party of Pedophiles!

In response to mass shootings,Congress will never offer more than "thoughts and prayers" as long as it's beholden to contributions from the gun lobby.

Dear Republicans supporting the election of Judge Roy Moore of Alabama for the US Senate seat  on December 12, 2017, you need to do some real soul searching.

The Republican National Committee has decided to back Judge Roy Moore’s election again after previously having withdrawn its support. It is proof that their having a republican in the US senate is more important than their knowingly backing an alleged pedophile (in his early 30s when he was a local district attorney) with credible reporting from numerous women who have come forward; mall personnel who recalled having security escort him out of the premises as he had a penchant for hitting on high school girls, and a co-worker deputy district attorney who states that Judge Moore’s penchant for dating very young girls was an open local secret in GADSDEN , Alabama.

Dear Republicans, here is a James Baldwin quote that you need…

Here’s hoping we don’t gain a bunch of holiday weight!

As we enter this final month of the year, we also enter the season of eating, drinking and holiday parties. A study done through Cornell University discovered that people gain, on average, around 13 pounds over the holiday season, beginning in October/November and peaking at Christmas. (6) They also discovered that, while half of the […]

Thanks for nothing Republicans!

If anyone thinks this new tax bill is going to create jobs they are bat shit crazy!  I’ve been paying into Social Security and Medicare for over 45 years.  There is a real possibility that I may never collect a cent!  These are not entitlements you ass pipes, we the American people pay your salaries! Do your f&*king jobs for all people, not just the 1%! Let’s hope if anything comes out of this tax bill, is that the Republicans will lose control of the house and the senate.

13 Ways To Be More Mindful [Infographic]… — Chris The Story Reading Ape’s Blog

by Chris Jager on Life Hacker site: In the simplest terms, ‘mindfulness’ means being conscious of your thoughts and surroundings. It also forms the cornerstone of a personal philisophy that many people prescribe to. In short, to be mindful is to focus on the present moment without reaction or judgement – resulting in a happier […]

It’s only going to get worse people!

Lucky otters haven hits it right on the head. We have an escape plan.  I think it would be a good idea for everyone to have one.  Don’t let these evil assholes destroy your life. I’m a middle class person who will do whatever I can to protect my family. Do whatever you can to get out and fast if need be.  Learn a new language, I know I am. We will up and leave if necessary.  I’m not letting that orange haired asspipe destroy my family.

So. The oligarchs got their wish last night, under cover of darkness. In secrecy and total lack of transparency, they passed a tax bill that robs the poor and middle class to further enrich the 1% and the corporations. An almost 500-page document with scribbled handwritten notes was presented to them hours before they […]

Thanksgiving reflections-good riddance to 2017

Happy Thanksgiving!  We had a lovely Thanksgiving with family and wonderful food.  2017 has been an interesting year for me.  I started the year with a job I loved, and was hoping to retire from.  That was not to be, as business dropped off and I had to find another job.  Then on January 20th, Donald Trump took office as president of the United States.  It’s been a never ending freak show every day. He is unequivocally the most unqualified person to hold office I have ever seen in my lifetime.  He is destroying the country I love, and is truly a threat to the safety of our citizens.  He has brought all of the ugliness to the surface and legitimized it.  People are so angry.

After the inauguration, I was sad and angry.  Now I am planning our escape.  While I have about five years to go before I can retire, I am ready to move elsewhere, preferably to another country.

I found another job in June. The months leading up to that were stressful as I was working two jobs and dealing with a knee injury. Now I am recuperating from knee replacement surgery and reflecting upon my life. I spent two weeks off from work after my surgery, and spent some great quality time with my family and dogs.

Nearing the end of my working career has me thinking about a lot of things. One being, spending money.  I love to do product reviews; however, I’ve decided to stop buying things I don’t really need.  I’m ready to downsize and not have so much stuff.

Now I’m on a mission to save as much money as I can, while paying off some obligations.  Christmas will be scaled back this year.  All I want for Christmas is a class to learn how to speak Spanish.  We are hoping to travel more in 2018.  Scouting out foreign locations for retirement is going to be fun.

I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Here’s hoping everyone has a better 2018.

November 2017 Ipsy Glam bag review

Hello!  Happy Saturday!  I’ve been MIA for awhile, as I’m recovering from surgery. A bright point this past week was receiving my November Ipsy glam bag.

I liked most everything I got, which usually isn’t the case.  I had a heck of a time finding pricing for everything I received.  Ipsy costs $10 a month.  You get five products, and your selection is based on your personal profile.  I have changed mine several times over the years.  Most of the products are deluxe sample size, but I always get at least one full size product.  This month I got three full size products!  Sweet!

Here is what I got:

Don’t know why it is sideways, must be the pain meds I’m on. Ha ha!  Ipsy is great about sending make up brushes.  I got a tapered highlight brush from slmissglam.  It’s so cute with it blue handle and blue rhinestones.  Next up is a gorgeous bronze loose eye shadow by Naked Cosmetics in Mother Nature.  It has tiny flecks of green and I can’t wait to try it on my blue eyes.  It retails for $14.99.

I’ve gotten many lip products from Colorpop over the years.  This month I got Ultra Satin Lip color in Calypso.  It’s a pretty pinky nude that retails for $6, this is full size.

I got a lip balm by Skyn Iceland Berry Lip fix, it was a deluxe sample, and just okay.

I also got a deluxe sample of IT Cosmetics CC+ foundation in light.  I have used this before and it offers great full coverage and  also can be used for a concealer.

All in all, I definitely got my money’s worth this month.  Thanks for stopping by.
