Yikes! I so wanted to love this Sinful Colors Kylie Denim & Bling in Kargo. It’s a really cool blue matte color. It looked great on, but taking it off, OMG, what a nightmare!
I bought some other colors from this collection because they were on clearance. They were only $2 each, so I figured what the heck.
I used straight up acetone to try and remove this polish. My nails were really long, and I had some silk wraps on that ended up getting wrecked. These are not tips, but my own nails that I loved. Now they are a lot shorter since I got back from vacation.
Lucky for me we had some industrial hand cleaner in the basement. It got most of it off.
Check it out. I don’t know if I just got a bad batch or what, but it quickly went in the trash.

Wow! That looks so messy! I hate when a polish looks great on and a complete mess once I try to take it off.
This is the first time this has ever happened to me. It was a royal pain to say the least.

I know, I was so glad the hubby had that cleaner down the basement. I was freaking out!
Glad I don’t wear nail polish, but these days my nails are a bit of a mess following a fungal infection on one way back in June which has finally dropped off but still growing (wavily) out, and others that have split rather low down, so I can’t cut them off yet. For a nail chewer of yesteryear (Hubby seems to have been the cure), this is serious bad news!

If you check out my product reviews and nail tabs, you can see how well this oil works. I’ve been using it nightly now for months, and still have half the bottle left. It makes your nails super hard. I have man hands, so I need semi long nails.
Thanks for the tip. I used a product years ago for strenthening my nails but I can’t remember what it was called. It was damned good thugh!
Good luck! Sally Beauty has a really good base coat called Gelous Nail Gel http://www.sallybeauty.com//gelous-nail-gel/SBS-507020,default,pd.html. It’s thick and makes your nails hard. It’s my go to base coat, and it’s cheap too.
